Kasui (花穂) haori

This wonderful piece has a 3D weave in it's fabric, which makes it mesmerising to see and touch. It also has beautiful botanical images in different metallic colours (golden, rose gold, silver) and, the most amazing of it all: a family crest! Called "kamon" in Japanese, the existence of this item on a piece usually means it was made to order by an expert craftmanship`.

When it arrived to me, I had to work on the collar piece opening it up and closing it again since the stitchwork was messed up due to it's age. Now, restored, it looks flawless when being worn! (The lining is a bit loose, but the fabric is not damaged at all).

Every piece I sell is clean and ready to be worn, but in case you need to clean it I recomend a gentle hand wash with delicate clothing detergent and mild water (preferably colder). Do not rub very hard nor use hot water (if there are silk fibers they will break), and avoid using harsh substances like bleach.
